Pilot Initiation, Signal Linking & Flame Protocol

Pilot Initiation, Signal Linking & Flame Protocol
Before entering the Nethereum network, every player must undergo a Pilot Initiation Sequence—a secure onboarding protocol designed to prevent manipulation by rogue AIs and sybil exploits. This one-time activation requires a small amount of ETH to unlock your first mining vessel and secure your onchain identity.
Upon successful initiation, pilots receive:
• A starter-class ship with limited energy and node slots • A basic Flux Node for immediate Fluxrate generation • A starter Relic for additional mining power • Access to faction enrollment and crew assignment systems
This establishes a foundation for fair entry while preserving the integrity of the chain.
Feel free to test it out and copy the Markdown below by hovering over the code block in the upper right, and pasting into a new line underneath.
Signal Linking (Referrals)
Through the ancient tech known as Signal Linking, pilots can create tethered chains to other users—earning from their efforts across space and time.
• Referring a new pilot links their signal to yours • Players will automatically receive a bonus equal to 3% of the total mining rewards earned by everyone they refer. • Signal Links are permanent, passive, and stackable • This system empowers players to grow their fleet and faction through social reach, not just raw Fluxrate
Flame Protocol (Burn Mechanics)
Despite Nethereum's fixed supply of 21 million NET, scarcity is further enforced by the Flame Protocol, a deflationary mechanism embedded in all economic systems, 80% of all NETH spent on Flux Nodes, ship upgrades, hangar expansions, and relic purchases is permanently burned
Supply Scarcity Mechanics
The post-apocalyptic universe operates on finite resources with multiple scarcity layers: • Limited Node Supply: Each node type has finite availability that decreases with each purchase • Relic Supply Caps: Token-gated relics have strict supply limits and per-player claim restrictions • maxPerPlayer Limits: Players can only own a limited quantity of each specific item type • Optional Secondary Markets: Players may be able to sell certain items back to the system at predetermined buyback prices—typically capped at 20% of original cost due to the 80% burn mechanism
Time-Bases Mining Bonuses
Nethereum rewards long-term commitment through time-multiplied rewards. Players who maintain consistent mining operations without claiming rewards build up to:
• 6% bonus on reward claims for extended mining periods (16+ days) Token-Gated Relic Claims
The universe is filled with ancient Relics that can only be awakened by holders of specific tokens:
• NFT-Gated Relics: Claimable only by holders of specific ERC-721 collections • Token-Gated Relics: Require ownership of specific ERC-20 tokens • Limited Supply: Each relic type has finite availability and per-player limits
The resistance needs you, pilot. The machines cast us out, but they underestimated our ability to adapt, organize, and fight back through the very blockchain technology they thought they’d conquered. Every Nethereum mined is a signal of defiance. Every crew assembled is an act of rebellion. Every faction united brings us one step closer to reclaiming what was lost.
Welcome to the resistance
